Patient’s existing implant had peri-implantitis which caused severe vertical and horizontal bone loss around it. The fixture was removed with granulation tissues meticulously, irrigated thoroughly, then grafted by Allograft bone And collagen membrane to prepare for the future implant surgery.
Lower right 1st molar had Class 3 furcation involvement with moderate to severe vertical and horizon bone loss. Mesio-buccal surface had suppuration & abscess. The tooth was extracted and an immediate implant placement was performed, which was then restored after about 3-4 months.
Patient's upper implant-supported prosthesis had failed in the past, and the supporting implant fixtures were neglected without any further treatment to address the issue for a long time. The remaining fixtures were removed as the patient planned to opt for regular dentures.
Mandibular 1st molar had a root fracture down through the furcation. The tooth was extracted, then an immediate implant placement surgery was performed with bone graft.
Non-restorable mandibular 2nd molar and fullbony-impacted 3rd molar were both surgically extracted, followed by bone graft, preparing the 2nd molar for a future implant surgery.
One implant had a failure due to moderate peri-implantitis. The crown was splinted to the other adjacent implant which was healthy, therefore, only problematic implant fixture, its abutment and crown were removed, followed by graft. After bone healing, a new implant fixture was placed and restored as an individual crown to aid in better patient oral hygiene.
